Health & Safety On Board

Yacht Rules to be Followed

Your safety is our priority on the sea

  • All yachts have life jackets, life buoys, life rafts and a fire extinguisher in each cabin within the passenger and personnel capacity. In extraordinary situations, we want you to follow the directions of our crew, who have the necessary qualifications.
  • It is strictly forbidden to use cigarettes and tobacco products in the saloon, cabins and toilets, which are the interior living areas of the boat. Cigarettes can be used on the deck, but we kindly want you to pay maximum attention to fire and ashes while cruising or in windy weather an we ask you to use them in the tables.
  • Since the drain and tank system on boats is different from land life, toilet paper, napkins, wet wipes, hair, etc. is strictly forbidden to throw in the toilet. You need to use the trash cans for that purpose.
  • It is not hygienic to use shoes, slippers and sandals in the interior of the boat. In the outdoor living area, you can use slippers, shoes and sandals with soft soles that will not damage the deck.
  • Considering that the varnished area can be slippery, we kindly ask you not to enter the interior living areas of the boat while your feet are wet. For the same reason, we recommend you to be careful about painted and varnished floors in outdoor living areas.
  • During the trip, bring a towel, a pareo, a t-shirt, a swimsuit, a hat, a cigarette pack, a book, a seabed, and so on. Because your items may fly owing to the wind, we recommend that you secure them.
  • We kindly ask you to keep your cabin windows (porthole) closed during the cruise to prevent your belongings from getting wet due to waves and spray.
  • Because the propellers are in motion and the crew must be supported in giving the necessary movement areas while anchoring in coves, islands, and ports, it is not advisable to leap into the sea and begin swimming before the engine stops or the captain’s approval.
  • During anchoring or in emergency situations, the boat’s service boats are available for use. It is risky and banned for our passengers to use the service boats in terms of safety and security.
  • For your personal safety, do not jump into the water without being sure of the depth in places where you will enter the sea for the first time.
  • Climbing cliffs can be dangerous on moored islands and bays. In these areas, sharp stones, slippery ground and sea urchins can cause injury.
  • Within the tank capacity of our boats, there is enough domestic water for the number of persons on board. However, it is adequate for the purposes; it should not be squandered and should be used with caution.
  • The electricity used in our boats is stored while the engine or generator is running and is limited. For this reason, make sure that your lights are turned off when you are not in the cabins and avoid unnecessary use.
  • You are welcome to swim in the evenings, but please notify one of our staff members before doing so, in case of any undesirable scenarios that may arise in the dark.
  • It should not be forgotten that in the silence of the evening, the sound can spread over a wide area over the sea. Especially in high season, boats can be moored close to each other. Therefore, we kindly ask you to respect other passengers who are on holiday like you in your conversations and when adjusting the volume of the music and reduce the volume to a minimum as of midnight.
  • Our guests who prefer to sleep under the stars on sunbathing mats at night are kindly requested to take their pillows and piqués to their cabins when they wake up in order to avoid any confusion.
  • Unless there is an emergency, we respectfully request that you do not insist on our captain for the night trip.
  • To avoid disrupting the boat’s current schedule or causing concern to other participants, we urge that you do not swim or use non-motorized water sports equipment too far from the boat. In addition, before leaving the boat in the programs covering the ports, please notify one member of the crew.
  • You must advise our cook if you have a product or food allergy that you do not ingest.
  • Because bees may be present on the islands and in the bays from time to time, it is recommended that our guests with bee allergies bring the required medications with them.
  • We urge that you keep track of the medications you take on a regular basis. You can advise our staff about the use and hours of medicines if necessary, and you can use our cabinets to meet your cooling requirements.
  • Children and babies should be with their parents and under their care to avoid injuries that may arise as a result of the boat shaking while sailing.
  • Carrot butter, cocoa butter, and other light-colored butters are commonly used in sunbathing mats and sitting places. We respectfully request that you sunbathe with your towel after using sun oils that have the potential to stain.
  • It is illegal to transport and use materials that are inconvenient under the laws of the territorial seas in which you are sailing by boat. All damages incurred as a result of noncompliance with the legal rules are the passenger’s responsibility.
  • Following the passenger change, all boats are disinfected as part of pandemic preparedness. Regular temperature measures are taken during the guest check-in phase and on subsequent days, and hand disinfectants are available in select areas of our boat.
  • We ask you to be kind to our teams, who serve you all day from the moment you wake up to the time you go to bed. All our crew are doing their duty to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable holiday. The tip rate, which is accepted in the service sector in accordance with world standards, is between 5% and 10% in line with your satisfaction. As a company, we do not find it right to give you a percentage, and we ask you to be fair to our crew who work long hours to meet your expectations during your holiday.
  • Our skipper has the authority to alter the present path for the safety of our guests and our boat, considering the sea and weather conditions.
  • In the event of problems on our boat or in bad scenarios beyond your expectations, it is the authorized captain who will first fix the current problem. If you’re having trouble making progress, call your salesperson, who you may reach 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
