Especially July and August it is slightly difficult to find economic flights into tourism airports.

From above airport alternatives, Dalaman and Bodrum Airports have shortests road transfer distances to popular embarkation ports in Turkey. Antalya and Izmır Airports are city airports and they are bigger and busier airports compare to Dalaman and Bodrum Airports.
If its not possible to find direct flights into Dalaman or Bodrum, best option is finding a flight into Istanbul Airport. Especially within summer season, there are domestic flights running from Istanbul on every hour with Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines to all tourism related airports that we have mentioned above. Please Aware, There are 2 airports in Istanbul. Pegasus Airlines operate from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Turkish Airlines operate from New Istanbul Airport.
When its not possible to find a flight into Turkey or when flights are overpriced, There are 2 more options worth to check.
