What is APA?

Advance Provisioning Allowence (APA) is a payment system on high category yacht charters to cover all the expences before and during blue cruise on Yacht Charter industry. The main idea behind APA is providing the best service quality without interuption. APA is calculated as 30% of the total yacht rental amount. It is sent separately to the responsible crew member before cruising starts for preparetions.

How Does APA Getting Used?

Main food and drinks stock for the cruising week and the cleaning materials are supplied to the yacht from APA budget before cruising starts.

From fuel consumption to fresh needed kitcen materials or from spontaneous requests to unexpacted route changes every possible expense is getting supplied from APA budget.

If the yacht has international ports to visit, entry-exit fees for each guest, the yacht entry-exit fees and the taxes get paid from APA budged ,

Specified tipping persentage on yacht rental contract is paid to yacht crew from APA budged also. Tipping persentage is usually 10% of the total rental amount.

How Does APA Getting Controlled?

The authorised crew has resposibility to follow each payment made from APA budget. All the receipts and invoices are recorded for reporting. Depending on the guests request payment details can be checked anytime during the trip. But mostly getting checked at the end of the holiday time.

If APA budget gets close to finish responsible  crew inform the guests with the payments already made and request for extra budget depending on expectations.

Remaining APA budget returns back to guests after all calculations are checked at the end of cruising week.
